Satin Angora
Like the other Angora varieties, the Satin Angora has very long fur ("Wool"). The wool of a Satin Angora is finer, softer and silkier than that of the other Angora breeds. The Satin Angora's ears are "normal" rabbit ears, not covered with wool or with long fringe - although there might be small tufts on the ends of the ears - and their facial fur is short, not long wool.
The Satin Angora rabbit is a rare breed. According to the Rabbitgeek.com list, based on ARBA registrations, they are no. 6 on the rarest breeds list.
Adult weight for a Satin Angora is 6.5-9.5 pounds.

- Broken: White in combination with one of the other colors
- Self (entire rabbit is one color): Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac
- Shaded (dark on face, ears, feet, tail; shading to lighter color on body): Pearl (sable, black, blue, chocolate or lilac shading to pearl color), Sable (dark sable shading to light sable), Seal (same as sable, but darker areas are almost black), Smoke Pearl (smoky blue shading to pearl grey beige)
- Tortoiseshell: Blue Tortoiseshell (blue shading to beige), Chocolate Tortoiseshell (light chocolate brown shading to fawn), Lilac Tortoiseshell (lilac shading to beige or almond), Tortoiseshell (brownish black shading to fawn)
- Ticked (fur is one color/longer guard hairs in a different color): Blue Steel (blue/tan), Chocolate Steel (brown/tan or silver), Lilac Steel (lilac/tan or silver), Steel (dark grey/tan or silver)
- Wide Band: Cream, Fawn, Red

Note: Similar breeds are:
- English Angora - long fur all over, including face and ears.
- French Angora - about the same size, also has short hair on face and ears, but regular Angora wool rather than the softer Satin kind.
- Giant Angora - much larger, longer hair, fringe and tufts on ears
- Jersey Woolly - very small, round head and short ears
