Safe food?

    if you worry, you can switch to other brands of rabbit food.

    I would not feed it to my rabbits. For indoor, fixed rabbits, the protein is too high and the fiber too low. It's made with "by-products" -- not good.

    There are far better options available.

    The following link explains what to look for in a good pellet food. The chart compares numerous brands from the UK. There are a few on there that are available in the US.

    Sherwood pellets can be purchased online only (as far as I know). That's actually what I use.
