Hey RO,

I saw the thread regarding "what you had for dinner" accompanied by the odd recipe and thought, "hey why not have a thread compiling of just our most favorite recipes for those of us that want to try them". They can be your favorite main dish, side-dish, and/or dessert. How about it?

Here is one of my favorites.

Shipwreck

3 large potatoes 1 can mushrooms (sliced)

1 medium onion ketchup

1 1lb. pkg. hamburger parsley flakes

1 c. mixed frozen veggies garlic powder
(beans/carrots)

In a roasting pan (the black speckled, oval one with the lid) place:
  • Potato slices to cover bottom of pan
  • Salt & pepper to liking
  • Add layer of onion cut in rings
  • Layer of drained mushrooms
  • Layer of mixed frozen veggies
  • Pour over can of tomato soup
  • Fill can with water and add through layers
  • Cut slices of marble (cheddar is to greasy with the mix) cheese to cover then add raw hamburger
  • Press on top to push out air
  • Sprinkle garlic powder
  • Cover top with ketchup and sprinkle with parsley flakes
Cover with lid and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, take lid off and bake for an extra 1/2 hour.

Hope you enjoy,

Nate

Wow I will have to put my banana bread recipe up here! This would also be a great place for me to use for my senior project which is hopefully gonna be a cookbook!
