Rex fur for knitting?

Any one of you is knitting using their bun bun's fur?

I imagine one could knit with Angora, but I don't think that Rex fur is long enough or of the right texture.

There's a lady that specializes in spinning rabbit fur (or any animalfur for that matter) into usable fiber to knit.

She spins cat and dog hair so I can;t see why she wouldnt be able to spin rex fur!

Although keep in mind, sheering/shaving can be extremely stressful for your rabbit.

Well, I saw on the net (sorry, forgot to keep the link) a scarf made of rex rabbit fur... hence the subject of the topic.

I know for sure any sort of angora hair can be spun and is. It's actually one of the most pricey yarns!

I am sure it takes much time and dedication but if this lady can spinshort haired fur I dont see why anyone else couldnt as well!

Unfortunatley, it may have been made of a pelt and not from shearing. I know rex were bred for their pelts at one time :X

I saw some made with the skin, indeed, but what I saw was knitted...
