Revolution and Scratching

Hi everybody, hope you're all doing well

I often find myself reading this forum when I have concerns and I just have a question. My rabbit Castle has fleas and we gave him Revolution yesterday, a little over 24 hours ago and he's still scratching a lot. My question is just, how long should it take before the scratching lessens? I just want to know what's usually normal so I don't worry too much.

What dosage per pound/kg of body weight was given? Usual dose shouldn't be less than 18mg/kg.

Hey, thanks for the response! His dosage is around there. 30mg and he weighs 1.74kg.

Ok. It may take a few days to see improvement due to the irritation of the skin that's already been occurring. Once the fleas are gone and the irritation has time to subside, you should start seeing improvement. If after several days to a week, you aren't seeing improvement or it's worsening, or you have any other concerns, then I would talk to your vet.
