Baby Clover suffered multiple seizures and a heart attack. After rushing her to the vets, and 3 long hours of her holding on, she finally took one last breath and was at peace.

I wasn’t able to post about this until today as I still truly haven’t accepted her death. She was such a gorgeous, bouncy little baby and I only had her for a week. Being a rescue bun, she came with complications and (as her mother died during child birth) I raised her as my own. She was given such a loving week and I’m glad to have been there with her in her final moments.

The vet diagnosed it as due to an infection she contracted in the womb from the mother, the same one the mother sadly died from too.

I am heartbroken but my baby is at peace now and binkying around in rabbit heaven. I miss you Clover and I hope you’re resting easy.

Rest in peace ❤️

So sorry and sad, sweet little Clover. So good you felt love and were not alone.

Poor little Clover... so tragic to die so young, but at least in her final days she knew love! It sounds like she was much better off for having spent that week with you.
