Red urine

My rabbit have red urine but it’s not blood in it, what can cause the urine to discolor. He dosen’t eat carrot or anything that can discolor and the only green he gets it’s fresh grass and dandelion leaf that have just started growing.

Is it something to worry about?

Dandelion is well known for causing color changes to urine. It's the plant pigments that cause it.

Aha, but when he dosen’t eat dandelion it’s still have a red color.

Rabbits are really good at concentrating urine so it will often be a dark colour, and there are lots of different foods that can cause it, it is not uncommon in rabbits and not an issue unless it is bloody
