Our bunny has a 4' by 4' x-pen, and we'd like to be able to add another similar sized space to it for supervised playtime. She's not a jumper so 24" or so is fine. I would love if it's something lighter than the usual x-pens, and it needs to fold up, so that my kids and I (they're 7 and 9) can take it up and down easily every day for play time. Any recommendations? We wouldn't leave here in it unsupervised so it can maybe be something a little less sturdy than your standard x-pen. Thanks in advance!!!

I'm guessing your sturdy one is like the Midwest brand pens- rather heavy/sturdy. I have a couple of those, but I also have a ferret pen that is white and is much lighter in weight and easier to handle. While the Midwest one would be a challenge for a child to handle, the lighter weight pen should be manageable.

This is what I have:

and here's one similar...

Thanks so much! Do you have a ballpark sense of how much each of those weigh? I don't see clear weight info on the listings....

Mine is currently boxed up in my shed behind my Christmas boxes, lol!

I tried to see if the amazon site lists the weight but it states 1 lb -- which obviously isn't accurate.

I did, check their reviews and found this, for what it's worth...

I have an X-pen that we have attached to her crate with zip ties. The x-pen started to not be as sturdy and we secured each section with zip ties and cut off the extra of course. It is accordion folded up on the size. Most of the time I have it out so she has extra room. My kids can maneuver it just fine that are your kids age.
