Rabbit not eating

My rabbit has stopped eating his soft pellets he’s an old boy 10 and only has spikes for teeth hence soft pellets. He usually does this when he is due for the vet to file his remaining teeth down but the vet is off sick. I have booked him in to another vet in 2 days to be examined my worry is if he’s not eating over these two days he may die. I know stasis can start if his gut stops. Has anyone had a similar situation?

He’s started to eat again but I’m still taking him to vet to be check out. I will try syringe as last resort but thanks
