Rabbit in kill shelter (TN)

I had my new kitty back at the shelter this morning so they could treat her ear mites. Right as I got there, the truck pulled up with a rabbit that had been running loose.

I tried to take a picture, but my battery was dead.

It was white with brown spots (broken tort?) and it had uppy ears. It was small, maybe 3-4 pounds.I don't know the gender.

I felt terrible leaving it there. They admitted that most of the rabbits they get in become aggressive andare usually put down.

If anyone is interested, I can go get it and help with transport. Just let me know.

Oh geeze, you guys get a lot of them in that area (and those shelters are so high kill).

Anyone in that area want a friend? Or anyone in the surrounding states? Weve been successful with transports down there, especially with the holiday coming.

No, sorry. The shelter is about 45 minutes from me or I would go back. I'll e-mail them and see if they'll post it on Petfinder.

It looks like asmall,uppy eared Mini Lop. It's fur is just like a Mini Lop's.
