It's been a week my bunny is having some gastric disorder where, her stomach makes occasional gurgling sounds and she sits in a hunched position though she is quite alert and also has appetite , along with soft caecotrophs at particular times of the day, otherwise her stools are normal, i have visited the vet but the vets here are no rabbit specialist, they deal with dogs and cats mostly. The vet whom i have contacted have given anti diarrhoeal meds to deal with the situation, anyone having any idea what to do ?? Plzz help, i would be highly grateful

What is her diet every day?
How often is the gurgling/hunching occuring?
How long does it last?

It is possible something about her diet is not agreeing with her stomach, so she is constantly getting gassy. Here is information on recommended pet rabbit diet, by age: Diet - WabbitWiki

Find a vet that does exotics aka rabbits. Only they can give you the best answer. The little bun might need critical care but only a vet can tell you. And gastro upset in rabbits can develop badly very quickly so a vet is necessary.

I don't like the sound of anti-diarrhea medication. What medication is it exactly? It would be helpful if you could say exactly what her diet - including precise quantities - is.

What diarrhea med was it and did your rabbit actually have diarrhea? Any other medications prescribed?
