Hello, I need to take my two holland lop bunnies to the vet next week for the first time. They are bonded, so I assume I should put them in the same carrier… Any carrier recommendations or size recommendations for two bunnies?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Just wondering, why not mesh?Do not use mesh.
If you use mesh and get in an accident your buns are not at all protected.Just wondering, why not mesh?
another good reason to not get a mesh one is the lil buggers have no problems chomping their way through the mesh. I went through 3 mesh/fabric style carriers until I had enough of them getting destroyed and switched to the hardshell kennelsJust wondering, why not mesh?
I feel like in mesh it feels more comfy, you just need to watch your rabbits 24/7 while in the carrierIf you use mesh and get in an accident your buns are not at all protected.

Thank you! This is super helpful!Yes, you'll want to keep them both in the same carrier. Just large enough for them both to fit. The bottom should be lined with a thick folded towel or pet bed to keep them from sliding about. Here is a guide...

Thank you! I got this carrier and the bunnies fit perfectly!Do not use mesh. I use a dog crate that looks like this. I use this for my two full sized adult rabbits and they fit great with a bit of extra room. I do highly reccomend the top loading one as well.View attachment 60739
