Rabbit acting weird after drinking water

Hi! I currently own a polish rabbit. He has recently been doing this weird thing after he drinks water where he chews on it for a few seconds then appears to hiccup? I took a video and was wondering if anybody knows if this is normal or not.

Is he eating normally? Any drooling, odd chewing behavior while eating, dropping food from the mouth, weight loss, or other signs that it could be related to a dental problem?

He has been behaving completely normal and eating normally. He is a bit underweight but that’s because he has low intestinal flora count at the moment (he is on probiotics to resolve this). Today when I was observing him drinking his water he he didn’t “hiccup” he only seemed to “chew” on it

I wonder if his mouth is sore?

Maybe :/ he seems to be doing better today but I’ve emailed the video to his vet incase it’s anything serious, I’m still waiting on their response

A dental issue is a good possibility. Odd chewing behaviors often are due to discomfort in their mouth. Or even just something stuck in his teeth. I guess see what your vet says.
