My rabbit had a litter of 5 a few weeks ago (first ever litter, she is the first bunny I had gotten, she has had no problem with me being around them since the day she gave birth and she takes good care of them).
i haven’t been home the last few days but previously I had noticed one kitten that takes a little longer to come out the nest at feeding times, I’ve been making sure they all eat enough when I am home.
My mum believes that the kit looks very underweight compared to the others (I’ll compare today I just seperate them to feed With me and observe it’s behaviour) and she says the last few days it haven’t been cleaning itself either nor has its mother (I’m not 100%).
The kit is very friendly, not as active as the other 4 and a bit of a picky eater and as of right now it’s waste is dark and oval shaped instead of bigger and containing of fibre

EDIT 1: they’ve started cleaning themselves right after me posting this :)
Should I be worried?
I’ll leave a poll as well so this is easier to respond to

Are the kits old enough they've started eating solid food yet? If so, what foods do you feed?

Can you take a picture of it compared to one of it's other siblings, and post it here? Especially the belly, or anything that looks different about it to you. Can you weigh it and compare it to it's siblings weights? See if it's poops look different than it's siblings?

Hi thanks for the response!
Yes, their daily diet consists of the recommended hay and pellets, greens such as kale, grass and spinach.

I’ll update during the daytime tomorrow and I’ll see if I can find any kitchen scales

It does look smaller. Reduced growth rate and poor condition can occur for several reasons. It could have a genetic issue that's affecting it's growth and health, or it could have a medical problem like internal parasites affecting it's growth. Or if it's not skinny but just small and still healthy, it could just genetically be a smaller size bunny.

Along with being undersized, does it seem skinny and bony as well? Does it seem to have wasting and a lack of muscle and fat along the back and hindquarters? Does it seem to have a pot belly at all? How does it's poop look? Normal or anything abnormal about it?

Can you weigh it on kitchen scales?
we have 3 & I would’ve been certain 1 was smaller than the other 2, however at a recent weigh-in at the vet they all weighed exactly the same!
