Hello

I’m new to the forum but not new to bunnies. This one appeared in my backyard and I am trying to get a handle on breed.

My best guess is a male 6mos +/- abandoned due to sexual maturity. He is circling my girl and spraying her. He is dehydrated and a bag of bones.

I have a call into my vet to get him seen and neutered.

I want to say mini rex but he doesn’t appear to have that velveteen fur. Maybe Palomino?

Looks to be the harlequin color, though if it's the harlequin breed, another breed, or a mix, I don't know enough to tell you. Usually if a rabbit doesn't have characteristics that point to a specific breed(eg floppy ears, long fur, rex fur) then it's just presumed to be a mix, as there's not really any other way to tell.
