Pooh Question:

Today I brought both buns inside. We suddenly got the return of snow here, so I brought them in to check on them.

Both are super fine. Eatting and all that jazz.

I just noticed before bringing them outside again, that their pooh is, well very dry.
Can anyone tell me about this? Thanks.

Can you monitor how much water they're drinking? If they aren't drinking enough, you can flavor it a bit with some Pedialyte or even apple juice to entice them into drinking more.

Also, are you bringing them in just to check on them or for long periods of time? The changes in temp can affect them and stress them out so just make sure youre trying to keep things constant for them.

But yeah, Id put something extra in the water to help entice them to drink. Are they eating lots of hay ?

You can also wet some romaine lettuce to help hydrate them.

Might have something to do with stuff they're eating outside, like grass, twigs or leaves, as well.

i have heard that a smidge of pure aloe juice is a good addition to water to get them to drink more.
