We plan tostain our new staircase. I'm wondering if it's feasible to use a polyurethane stain (andwhatever protective coat might go over it)with the rabbits still in the house?

We wouldair out the house during the process, opening two windows, the back sliding door, and the downstairs sliding door. (The doors and windows of the rabbits' rooms would be closed so as to prevent the smell from being "dragged" in that direction.)

Is it possible/safe to do such home renovation without relocating rabbits?

Thank you,

Jenk

Depends on how open an area it is. The smaller the area the more the fumes concentrate. Just remember- it the smell is strong enough that you don't like it then it's too much for bunnies.

I would put the bunnies outside just to be safe though.
