Hey y'all!! So recently my family and I took a speedy quick trip up north and to ensure my rabbits had enough hay while we were away, I bought several plastic totes to go along with their hay box. Once we returned home I noticed that they treated all the totes as if they were litter boxes. Now granted they were only a few dollars I thought they would make a nice permanent fixture. Given there are multiple rabbits, it makes sense and is only proper that there are multiple litter boxes. I was just wondering if anyone else utilizes plastic totes for litter boxes??? Easily replaceable as well!

I use plastic totes as well. I get a 2-pack at Target for $5 and have both in the play pen for my two rabbits. I have dwarf rabbits though, so I can get away with smaller totes, but they are still much cheaper than actual litter boxes sold online or in stores.

I get the 3 foot long under-the-bed storage totes. They work awesome! Right now I have 2 that I rotate when I clean their room once a week (sometimes 2 weeks 😬 dont do that, it gets stinky)

Mine are about 7 inches high. I think shorter than that and you're likely to have bunnies accidentally scooting their bums over the edge.
