When you say stringy, I think fur in the poo, so maybe just give him an extra brush during the moulting seasons. You can try a bit of cat hairball formula as a preventative every day during a moult, but I wouldn't use it as a cure for a blockage.
 
Make sure he eats lots of hay and drinks plenty of water. The hay (fibre) keeps the gut moving and the water keeps him hydrated which also keeps things moving. You can also try canned pumpkin for fibre, but really only if he won't eat hay or is having other issues.
Brushing him out is also good to keep him from ingesting it in the first place.

Pooping out the fur is a good sign that it is making it through the digestive tract.
 
Right ok. He's still eating, drinking, pooping normally and that's the only poo strung with fur ive come across but will keep an eye on him. The bulk of my rabbits diet is hay, they get half their pellets in the morning and half at night and veggies for breakfast. The rest of the day they eat hay.
