Could you explain the breeding rabbits vs meatrabbits for 4H. I have until Nov 1 to get the rabbits foreither, and I really don't know what each entails and no one couldclarify at our club, nor does the website for 4H clarify. Ineed to be able to explain it for Justin so he can figure which one hewants to do.

Thanks, I appreciate it. You can email me at [email protected].

I don't know your county's requirements -- eacharea is different. In most areas, the "breeding" rabbit is apurebred rabbit that could potentially be used in a breeding program, where meat rabbits are the fryers or meat pen of 3 commercial rabbitsthat are usually auctioned off at your fair. You'll need toget in touch with your extension agent to find out the exactrequirements of your county.
