Hi everyone

I have recently moved to a new place with a nice big balcony on the 6th floor. It is just in line with the tops of some of the trees, which means I get to hear the birds and can sometimes forget I’m in a built-up city environment 😊

I would like to be able to to let the buns explore / chill on the balcony and also get them one of these grass boxes, which looks fun for digging, but a bit messy for indoors.

I would make sure I am with them and they would be in a pen to prevent them from jumping. There would be no threats from cats, dogs, etc, but does anyone know anything about birds of prey in cities and whether I should be mindful of that? I know absolutely nothing, but would be devastated if my ignorance led to one of my babies being snatched away by a falcon or something.

Or am I worrying too much? 😊

If you are outside with them, I wouldn't worry about a bird getting one of them. Sounds safe!
