My rabbit doesnt want to eat anything at the moment.not even his favourites apple or alfalfa hay.he doesnt try to eat at all. He did eat lots of parsley in the mornin. Would this cause a problem? I am very scared. He has pooped one hour ago. Poop shape was normal but normally he will poop a lot more. He presses his tummy in to ground. Our vet says dont give him baby gas drops. I am really confused. We will take him to the vet tomorrow but the soonest option is not till 16 hours. Any opinions ?

I'm not a vet. Pleas note that. It could be that he ate too much parsley. It's odd the vet would suggest no gas drops. Is it a rabbit savvy vet? You can try messaging his belly to make sure his gut continues to move.

Simethicone (baby gas drops) are perfectly safe for rabbits. It is my first go-to when a rabbit refuses food they normally eat.
1-2cc per hour for 3 hours, then 1cc every 3-8 hours as needed
The baby gas drops i have has dye this is why I hesitated to give him. Also the vet is only available 6 hours later. I do hope he will poop but he keeps sitting uncomfortably
