Hi,
We want to get a new bunny to hopefully bond with our neutered boy. We’ve been offered a baby doe (3 months) but don’t know how to bond them (we haven’t said yes yet but very tempted).
Will they need to be kept apart until she’s fixed?
Thanks for any advice
 
Didn't see this earlier. It is a definite risk to start out with a baby when trying to bond rabbits. While most babies will get along with an adult, that can all change - and suddenly - with the onset of hormones. So there is a chance that the two will ultimately refuse to bond.

If you are fine with the idea of having to house both separately should they refuse to bond, then well and good.

If your goal is to find a bondmate for your boy, then you're better of finding a rabbit rescue and allowing him to meet some other fixed rabbits to pre-screen for potential compatibility. I understand that some rescues there in the UK will actually bond rabbits for you. You'd have to check on that. Otherwise, you can read up on how to bond rabbits. Here is a reference:
