Hey! I just joined this website because I just got a bun. I named him Charlie and I’m unsure what breed he is mixed with. The place I got him from did not seem to care at all what he was mixed with or about him so I adopted him. If anybody knows how big he’ll get or what he is exactly, or even a guess of how old he is please let me know :) my name is Savannah!

Also he’s super energetic so it’s hard to get pictures (I adopted him yesterday, so he’s just getting used to everything)

Hi! Welcome to the forum.

Charlie is so cute! He looks quite young still. I’m thinking he’s got some lop maybe, with harlequin because of his colouring? But I’m no good at breeds or ages... or anything else 😅. A rabbit-savvy vet will be able to give an estimate of his breed and age.
He’s very handsome!

What are you feeding him at the moment?

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking about the harlequin part because of the color. I bought him Timothy hay which he loves so far, and he has this hay house and a few chews! I was told to get him those food pellets they feed at pet stores, but I’m unsure? I read somewhere the diet is 90% hay 10% veggies. Also got some new pictures!!

Timothy hay is great! I would introduce veggies slowly, one new veggie a week. Some people choose not to feed pellets or very little pellets. I used to feed two tbs a day but now I feed 1/4 cup. The first ingredient in your pellets should be timothy hay.

I am going to go buy some pellets today for peace of mind! I want to make sure he’s eating enough. I’ll be sure to look for the ingredients, thank you so much :)

Welcome! He looks like a beautiful harlequin/lop mix, just like Apollo's Slave said. His diet should look similar to the photo (photo credit: Rabbits Indoors).
