My rabbit broke her leg and I don’t know if she needs pain medicine

She was limping so we brought her to the vet I don’t know if she needs medication for pain they didn’t tell me if i needed medicine for pain they only said it would heal it self and I don’t know what to do?
 
Ah well, as long as she's eating normal, I just would have a close eye on her for now.

"broke leg" is a rather course description of what her injury actually is.
 
Find a different more knowledgeable rabbit vet. Any good rabbit vet would know to give your rabbit pain medication(for you to give at home as well). And if the leg actually is broken it's likely something more needs to be done for the broken leg as well. You may be able to find a good rabbit vet on one of these lists.

I agree. A broken leg can be set and that can make a huge difference in the quality of the rabbit's life. Please go to a rabbit savvy vet. And yes, your rabbit is probably in a lot of pain. My rabbit has a broken leg and she has been getting pain meds for weeks now. Please get your rabbit some help.
