My Himmie Has Smut?

Hi everyone! My almost 4 month old himalayan has a small smut on her back, although I don't know how she got it. Fair is in a month and I'm worried the smut will stay! Is it possible to get rid of the smut?

Nope, the only thing that gets rid of smut is time and a shedding of her coat. Trying to trim the smut out would ruin her coat for showing. You could try and trigger a molt, but it probably wouldn't be finished in time for the fair.

And even when they molt the smut sometimes stays. My daughter was having that problem with her Californians, and is now mainly sticking with the Polish.
