Hello!
I have a 6 month old lionhead named Jupiter, but I think he’s upset at me. I recently left him over my family’s because I took a short trip for 4 days. Anyways I just came back home and to my disappointment, my baby wasn’t acting the same. He sits in corner and looks at me when he used to come to me. And he won’t let me pick him up like he used to. I didn’t know 4 days away would be such a large change, has anyone experienced this? Or know what todo, I miss my baby. :/F666351F-2C37-4032-ABDD-9358998F912F.jpeg

Start bonding again with him. Hand feed him a tiny carrot or a treat. And talk to him.

Is he still eating normally? Sometimes rabbits can feel stressed when their routine is disrupted and their usual caretaker is gone. This stress can cause stomach upset, which can result in GI stasis developing. So a rabbit acting unusually and also not eating, means that this has likely occurred and they need to be seen by a knowledgeable rabbit vet right away. It's considered an emergency when a rabbit isn't eating adequately for more than 12-24 hours.

If he is still eating fine and his poops are normal, then you probably just need to spend time with him. Rabbits can forget easily, so he just needs time with you, to rebond. Like Blue Eyes mentioned, homones can also have something to do with changes in behavior.

I left for a week and every time I walked up to my buns they started thumping and ran! And then after 2 days they went back to their normal selves lol 😆.
