Hello All!

Fairly new to the forums here! Just a bit concerned about my two year old neutered male holland lop. Noticed there is a clear mucus around his poop.

Found no diarrhea. Didn't eat all his kibble today but we are slowly trying to decrease the amount of kibble he eats and increase his hay intake-- which is going well!

Eats treats (ex: very small amount of carrots) like normal. Practically acting normal. Slightly more active than usual. Which is a benefit in my books! Attached is a link of a picture of his poop. What do you guys think?

Mucous in the poop is from irritation to the digestive tract. It can happen after a rabbit has had stasis, sometimes when it's eaten something that irritates it's digestion, from parasites, and more serious digestive problems like mucoid enteritis, and if that's the case it requires immediate veterinary care by a rabbit savvy vet.

To me though, that almost looks like it could be pinworms in your picture.
