Their names are Basha and Denali... Denali is a broken burmese withmocha and white standard and Basha is a broken chocolate satin.

Mice make very good pets. I had one when I wasyounger. They are soooo stinky. I'd say they are the smelliest animalsI've ever owned. Don't hold them by the tail by the way the skin on thetail can actually rip off. They are so adorable.

Oooooh, I LOVEmice!!:inlove: (Unfortunately, so do my cats, butin a decidedly different manner). :yuck

Love the names!! Great choices. :)

sas :)and the gang of five :bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance:

They're both absolutely gorgeous. I thought itwas only the male mice that stink really bad...? Who knows, my hamsterMowgli's pee-corner gets pretty stinky awfully fast, I think he couldcompete against mice for the "stinkiest pet" title :D

mine aren't stinky... And they are both males..I open the window everyday though because lately the outside has beencooler than the inside so we keep the windows open. But if you changetheir tank once a week they dont ever get stinky!

Lucky. All of the male mice I've ever metdefinitely had... ahem... their own unique odor... in their cages. Evenon most pet mouse care websites, it talks about how to keep male miceodor levels down :D Oh well, at least yours aren't so bad!

That reminds me. I was watching ananimal show and this kid brought his rat into the emergencyroom. The kit took the rat by the tail and started swingingit around in circles. His tail's skin ripped off exposing ewystuff.

Kids...

Ok well about the tail picture. My hand wasunder him and I only did it for a second. I was trying to get a pictureof his stomach. And I didn't know at the time. I do know now (a weeklater) that its not right to do that.

I see why you wanted a picture... he has a verycute little Berkshire tummy. Awww. I liken any animal being held by itstail to someone dangling me in midair by my foot, not a pleasantexperience! I do know that if completely neccessary you can (gently)hold them at the base of their tail if you hold the body too, if youare trying to lift them and they are skittish. But otherwise, it's bestnot to for their tail and peace of mind :D Honest mistake, though. Allis forgiven.
