Comments: She did abcess surgery on one bunny & is currently treating one for rabbit syphillis (a disease she never encoutered, but has made great efforts to find out what testing & treatment is available) ... it's obvious that she's willing to do the research when something odd comes up. She taught me how to give subQ injections, and even has called us to check on progress.

I stole thisfrom a wry neck post by Quan Myers at Etherbun...

Hi, My vet has a rabbit with the exact same problems.
someone dropped him off and never picked him up. She
tried many different medications and finally found the
cure. You would have to call her, she will gladly give
you the medicine that worked for her mini-lop. Her
name is Dr. christine Welch, her number is
207-563-3934 in Damariscotta, Maine. I have 77 bunnies
and she has helped me tremendously. Please tell her
staff that it is urgent. You can leave a message on
their machine and they will call you. good luck. Quan
