Had a fun day at a double show that also included 4 breeds doing triple shows.
Got 2 BOV's but no big deal neither had competition.
The raffle was another story...I came home with a new rabbit! He is a pure black standard rex, he is an intermediate and took BOV in his color against 14 others in the first show.(The donators were permitted to donate and still show the rabbits in the first show)

He is a very nice rabbit but I have a couple questions since I have not had rex in the past and never had a black rabbit. 1) how do you tell where to cut the nails & 2) other than black what color doe should I find to breed him to?

Dark nails are always fun. Do it in a very well lit area and you may be able to make out the quick. Grasp the nail with your clippers and pinch down on the nail--if your bunny jerks away you are into the quick and if the bunny doesn't move you can cut. And with the dark nail bunnies, always keep your styptic handy in case.
