Leaving bunny home

We will be gone Tuesday afternoon to Friday afternoon. Our 4 month old bun will be in his 6 x 4 exercise pen. We’ve asked my Mom to come every morning and evening to do things like replace water, add hay, pellets, rotate his toys. Other than us not being home the difference for him will be not having his xpen open all day. While he spends most of the day in the pen anyway he does have the freedom and opportunity to come out explore and play. I don’t trust the bunny to leave him with free access without us home (he’s discovered marking our couch as his new favorite hobby and I can’t block our wooden stairs off and he could slip. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have my Mom let him out because I don’t know if she’d be able to get him back in.

Will he be OK in his pen for 3 days?
