I see toys made with Jute rope. I'm familiar sisal rope, I'm trying to find more info on Jute. I know Jute is made from a natural plant fiber and there are products like curtains and mats made from it.

What I know, does it break down the same way that sisal rope does when ingested? I websites saying not use it and others saying it safe.

I found the same info as you, so I think I would treat it like the cardboard issue. If a lot or large pieces are being consumed then it's more likely to cause an issue and I wouldn't use it for that rabbit. If the rabbit doesn't really consume it but only chews it into pieces, or does consume some but only small pieces not likely to cause a problem, it possibly could be fine.
