Today I noticed a bald spot on my bunny over her neck. I don't know if it's due to an infection or molting. Kindly help, I don't have any bunny vet nearby so I need your help. IMG_20221115_152340.jpg

Does the skin look irritated or scaly? It does on the pictures, if this is the case there might be mites or a fungal infection, this spot is rather typical for some mites.

Usually easy fix, putting drops around that spots twice, three weeks apart or so. I think those I got were Stronghold.

Has your rabbit received any injections there, or has anything been applied to the skin in that area in the last few weeks? Has your rabbit been with any other rabbits recently? Any way the fur could have been ripped out by anything or another animal/pet?

If it's patchy and looks irritated it could be mites. Selamectin at the nape of the neck gets rid of them.
