Is my bunny moulting?

Today I noticed that my chestnut Netherland dwarf bunny’s fur looks strange. He has a big patch on his back that looks darker than the rest of his fur. He just turned 6 months old. Is he moulting? Will it go back to normal?

Yup. They can get all kinds of crazy patterns with a heavy shed.

Exactly..it’s just like the dogs breeds that get new coats for winter..so a lot of nice brushing rubs will help the process and he’ll love you for it...happens in the spring too
