Is hair loss normal in the shedding process?

Teddy is shedding right now...alot. but I also noticed that she is loading bits of hair on her head. And if you guys are about to bring up live, it's NOT a lice problem. She doesn't have it. I don't understand why she is like this.

Is your rabbit a lionhead by any chance ? my lion lop when shedding would shed off most his mane down to the skin. The hair would not grow back for months. Also no mites or anything. I read that it is common with Lionheads and lion mix.

One of my rabbits molts to the point where during grooming, there are patches of skin shown on the head most commonly. If the skin looks healthy, it may just be a normal part of molting. Fur on the face goes through shedding as well!

Thank you all!! For some reason the fur grew back pretty fast. I'm actually surprised . I think she was just molting.
