Is green leaf lettuce good?

    I wanted to know if i could feed teddy green leaf lettuce. she ussually eats romaine but i wanted to switch it up for her and try her with greenleaf. is it safe♥

    Do like the Titanic should have, avoid Iceberg. Ours get Romaine and some without calcium problems get Kale now and then.

    Any leaf lettuce is safe for rabbits. Iceberg lettuce is not a good choice because the water content is too high and it has little nutrition and can cause diarrhea.

    Just think "dark." Green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce, romaine, spring greens, dandelion greens, tops of carrots... all are dark in color. Iceberg is more white or pale green.
