Is a 100% polyester blanket suitable for the bottom of my 7-week old bunny's cage?

Or should I go for no flooring in the cage besides the hay/litter in his litter box? (My hope is to have him comfy but also learning to use the litter box.)

As long as it's not a chewer. We have carpet samples in most hutches, but 2 like to chew so they got a wooden plank instead as well as the litter box.

For litter training it is best to have non-absorbent floor - until they are trained. They are more likely to pee on blankets.

He has one of those small fuzzy blankets from Walmart in his

Keep blankets out of the cage until he is trained. They love to pee on soft things, so training will be easiest if the only place soft is inside that litter box.
