It does seem to look like there's some consistent watering happening, causing the fur to be like that. Sometimes it can be that something is caught under the eye, like a piece of hay or fur, and within the day or a couple hours, the rabbit will be able to sort it out and the watering will stop. Based on your post, it sounds like this has been going on for several days, so I would say an assessment would be good.

At the end of the day, differential diagnosis is important, so working with a vet you trust, is experienced, and is willing to discuss more with you is important.
For now, it would be helpful if you gently dried some of the watering so the fur/skin does not become too irritated throughout the day. Try not to rub or irritate it more.
