So, guess what 34 week pregnant person and their 3 year old got escorted out of the mall today?? Yep, that would be me! I took Audrina to the play area at the mall and she was standing in line to go down the slide. Well this girl walks in (couldnt have been more than 21 years old) and her daughter and I guess a friend of the 21 year old. The 21 year old is walking and talking to her friend (who is behind her, so shes turning her head but continuing to walk forward), and runs into audrina. Audrina falls and hits her head on the steps for the slide. The girl says to audrina "You need to watch where you are going little girl". At this point I have made it over to audrina who is still laying on the floor crying, and i told the girl that she does not talk to my child like that. it was not audrina's fault that the girl ran into her. That girl, as an adult, should've been watching where she was going. Audrina wasn't even running around, she was just standing there. She didnt even try to help audrina up. Well, me and this girl get heated and are arguing back and forth. She's in my face pointing her fingers in my face. Im trying to hold my composure. Thankfully, security showed up...but I have been banned from the mall for the day lol. That girl was escorted out too. I told my husband and he said I am not allowed out unsupervised anymore hahaha

What!?? What was that girl thinking!? If I would have knocked over a child I would have felt horrible and my first reaction would have been to see if the crying child was okay and then apologize profusely to the parent or guardian. What was she saying back to you? Was she trying to argue it was a 3 year olds fault??
UHg, people suck sometimes.
I guess you can now cross getting kicked out of the mall while pregnant off your bucket list! ;)

She was just yelling at me saying I need to learn to control my child and that audrina was in the wrong. Umm, excuse me, but i guess I didnt get the memo that it is a 3 year olds job to watch out for an adult walking and not paying attention. Audrina wasnt running around at all, she was simply standing in line. She still has a knot on her head from where she hit it. The girl is lucky I didnt put a knot on her head. Which I wouldve done if I wasnt pregnant, have a broken rib and by myself...i wouldve lost that fight lol

if you're a parent yourself, as she was, you **** well oughta understand that kids can be a little oblivious to their surroundings when running around (I have no kids and even I know to expect to dodge other peoples' young children because at those ages, they're so often in their own little world). the fact that Audrina wasn't even running around and was standing still makes it even more the fault of the adult.

imo if you're an adult in a "play area" for little kids, you're OBLIGATED to pay enough attention to your surroundings to not trip over any of the little kids. it's THEIR area to play in and you know **** well they're everywhere - it's not hard to keep an eye out to make sure you don't run into any of them. she should've known better and there's NO excuse for blaming a 3-year-old for a run-in... *especially* if you've caused them to get hurt. if it had been me, I would've been apologizing my butt off.

Oh my word!!! That is terrible! What person would knock a little girl down (a 3 year old, btw!!!!!!) and then blame them, and not apologize! And Audrina wasn't even moving! Good for you for telling that lady off! :nasty:

Wow crazy story. haha kicked out of the mall for the day is great. I hope she did too. Seriously not going to even say sorry to your kid.

Some people are still not grown up at 21. Not saying that's a good excuse for what she did.

OMG that is insane! I know moms in my own community like that. They are honestly just immature and insecure. Yes, I expect a three year old to always be on the lookout for crazy adults.

HAHA! Everyone needs to be kicked out of the mall at least once in there life! The other mom sounds real classy. A friend of mine was PERMANENTLY banned from the mall cause her dog tore the leash out of her hands and took off running into the food court were he proceeded to eat a random man's french fries....Why was the dog in the mall you ask. Well that is the kicker..He is a registered seizure alert service dog! No joke on that...He is the "Marley" of service animals.

I guess I need to teach my 3 year old to watch out for stupid people lol...shes just lucky that I am this pregnant and couldn't put a knot on her head! My husband said he was surprised I didn't, but I have two babies to worry about now...funny thing is, the other night we were driving somewhere and Audrina said "Daddy, I dont like police officers, they take the toys away!"...it didn't click to my husband what she was talking about until I told him she has been saying it since we got kicked out lol...we had to explain to her that he was doing his job
