iceberg lettuce

I tried looking for this already, and I'm really sorry if there is a thread already...

Is iceberg lettuce safe for bunnies? I've heard that it can be toxic, but I also heard that they can eat it.

So can they eat it or not??

It is highly discouraged. It is mostly water and can cause diarrhea.

You can give them romaine lettucethough.

So what is the difference between romaine lettuce that they can eat that but not iceberg?? is it just the water content

Romaine lettuce also has zero nutritional value. I always ask for romaine when ordering salads for myself.

And of course the bunnies always get Romaine.

haha no, but we do joke that they eat better than we do. Their nightly salads are beautiful!

my bun loves cos (romaine) lettuce but he hates red lettuce and although he used to like rocket lettuce, he hates that now too and refuses to eat it. the only lettuce he likes is cos.
