How long is too long to leave a bun??

I recently moved out of state and was unable to take Ollie with me right away. My good friend is watching him and it sounds like he's doing a great job but I wonder if he feels abandoned. It's going to be a month total that I'm away. I also have this irrational fear that ill die & he'll just assume I've abandoned him entirely since no one will be able to communicate it to him, lol. How long have y'all left your buns for the longest??

About a month is my longest. I was in Germany and shipped everyone to parents then flew over later. They were fine but they did miss us. We pay more attention to them and understand them a little better. My little bad rabbit had to stay with my parents in Houston to see a specialist while we went back to Oklahoma. That was for about 2-3 weeks. She's pretty resilient and really likes my dad so no hard feelings when she came back to us. She was even happy to see her bondmate. I think you'll be ok. They dont have a sense of time like we do either. They just know you're gone and something is different. Just count down the days and keep yourself occupied!
