I was accepted into a very prestigious university in Japan, and I won't be able to bring my darlings with me(I have three older buns, the boy is about five years old and is bonded with a 6 year old girl, and then a single grump who is about 8 who has minor health complications). I have been researching sanctuaries in my area, but I know that they are often over-full and stressed. I am unwilling to send them to the shelter (even though mine has a fairly high adoption rate). I want to know where they are, if at all possible.
I have no problems in providing compensation to either a sanctuary or individual as long as I know that my fur-children are happy and well-kept. Obviously I have six months to find a suitable arrangement, but if you had to find someone to love your rabbit(s), how would you go about finding the best possible home? This is the saddest part of accomplishing a life goal, to be sure.
