How do I treat a scab?

    Not sure if you remmeber but my fluffykins had those little bumps that turned into scabs. He's currently still left with the scabs (the two that the vet didn't pick off with his finger...) and the other sites are sort of scabbing over.

    I know I asked my vet if I could use Vaseline (the plain kind) and he said it was fine. I prefer Vaseline to sudocrem (what the vet used) as the Vaseline creates a barrier and helps the scab to dry and fall of faster.. leaving healed skin underneath.

    I haven't yet used anything on his scabs (too scared to mess with them tbh and they are tiny) but if I saw him scratching at them I'd probably use the Vaseline - it really dries it up a lot faster.

    I have a kid with severe eczema whom frequenly gets scabs from itching.. hence my intimate knowledge on Vaseline and how well it works.
