Help please I dont know what to do

So I got my bunny Bowie 3 Days ago (Not because of Easter I have just wanted a bunny for a long time and came across an ad for one a few weeks ago and it was just a coincidence that he turned 8 weeks old near Easter) I did research on bunnies but this is my first time owning one so I am new to this. Anyway, everyday since the day we got Bowie at around 1:30-2:00 he gets mushy poop but then at around 4:00-4:30 it goes away. Could it be stress? or maybe a diet change because I dont know what kind of hay his previous owner gave him but I give him alfalfa mixed with Timothy. Other than mushy poop he is fine like he drinks water and eats lots of hay and the same pellets he was eating with his previous owner so I don't know how to help him. Any Suggestions?

His diet sounds great! What do the poops look like? Are they cecotropes? Is he eating them? MediRabbit

What type of pellets is he getting? If he is eating Alfalfa Pellets he should not be getting Alfalfa hay, only Timothy hay. He is not eating the cecotropes because he has a protein-rich diet of alfalfa hay. Disorders of the Cecum | House Rabbit Society
