Hey everyone,
I wanted to monitor things before I made a post about it but I have noticed over the last 5 or so days that my bunny has little marks that feel lik scabs on the back of his neck around between the shoulders.
At first, I only felt one and thought he bit himself while grooming because he’s been shedding quite badly atm but they fee “round” and now there are just a couple smaller ones.
I can’t really see through his hair in relation to their colour or anything but I can get my finger to feel it and it does have that that ‘dry’ ‘pickable’ feel to it.
He is quite young and does spend time outdoors but tbh we’re not prone to many bugs around our home at all.
He also doesn’t seem sensitive to the touch, I’ve even pressed them to see if he will jump but he is not phased. The only thing I can say, is I notice him picking at them sometimes when grooming.
Does anyone know what this could be and what I could do? How worried should I be?
First time occurrence for me, first time bunny mum too.
