Great but I think I will stay with bunnies
Thatโ€™s about all I can handle
And itโ€™s so much easier to cuddle a bunny
(But I guess thatโ€™s debatable too ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡) hugs ๐Ÿค—
You will be surprised to know how affectionate budgies can be. Our beautiful Ocean actually flies to us and naps with us. On our shoulder (when working from home) legs, next to kids pillow (when she senses they are unwell) yes I agree Ocean does not like to be cuddled but she loves to be close to us n Elf too and shows her love n affection differently. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Iโ€™m so sorry ๐Ÿ˜ฃ I was certainly not dissing Ocean!
Iโ€™m sure sheโ€™s precious to you and brings you much delight! ๐Ÿคฃ I just meant I love the interaction and playfulness of my bunny and the two hour cuddles almost every night as Minx cuddles in my arms watching a Hallmark movie at night. She brings me so much comfort as Iโ€™m sure Ocean does to you as well! Thanks for your pictures too! I hope I didnโ€™t offend you as that certainly wasnโ€™t my intent!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜ฑโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•

All good, yes I totally understand, Elf does love his head massages. Glad to hear you get two hours of cuddles with Minx! Beautiful bonding time and we are very blessed to have them. They are great company and therapy pets. We are the lucky ones ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค—

We are in the middle of Winter here now so it's been cold, although not as much here as in the higher elevations. It was 64 F here today, but the news showed Ely, 250 miles away at Zero--32 degrees below freezing, but, they are about 6,000 feet higher and covered in snow. Our avatar, Nikki used to love the tile floors when we lived in California--her favorite spot was behind the toilet.

Welcome to the bunny forum. I hope you find it very useful in caring for your buns.

They are beautiful ๐Ÿ˜

I have learned soooo much since 2013 when I got my very own kit (my girls used to bring bunnies home but they cared for them, not me), I named Pepsipepper Pooper.
I had NO IDEA about buns ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ but I wanted to learn all I can, especially after my little bun was zipping around my flat for a couple hours then just stopped in her tracks at the sliding glass door, and fell over.. just layed there!!!
I cried I was sooo worried.

This forum, showed me I was a good bunny momma for freaking out at such happiness in my bun for she was simply bunny flopping ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿฅฐ

She passed 5 years later and left me her little husbun, who we got after he was abandoned into a high traffic area at 4-6 months old.
After the loss of Pepsi in 2018, I got him a new wife.
They had a feline who would watch over them while they grazed in their expen. He passed this past August and I noticed both buns were also feeling the loss๐Ÿ’”.
My girl would dig and nipp at the area rug, where our feline used to lay in the sun. She also goes into my bathroom and rolls the matt up that he used to have his naps on, and my little fella, has been a bit more accepting of me, now that he's the "Man of the house".๐Ÿฅฐ
Enjoy your time here, and gleen all you can. No question is more or less important, as I learned when I didn't know why my little kit fell over and just layed there ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ
