I just bought an Aerogarden to grow veggies for my rabbits. The seeds are heirloom lettuce and I don’t know if they are safe for rabbits to eat. They are called Black seeded Simpson, Parris Island, Deer tongue, and Rouge d’Hiver. Does anyone know if rabbits can eat them?

Imho any lettuce is ok, as a part of their diet, not so much as a staple food, it's all the same, Lactuca sativa. Same applies to it's wild ancestor, Lactuca serriola.

Some varietys that are basicly just structured, empty green water like Iceberg are pretty worthless as rabbit food.

Thanks so much for replying to my question. That’s what I thought but wanted to be sure before I gave it to them.
