Winter is approaching and i hate dealing with the frozen water bottles so i am thinking about just ordering a heating one. Has anyone had any problems with them? Does the water get to hot? Also does anyone have any tips on how to help prevent water bottles from freezing so fast? I live in oregon so it rarely gets below zero.

I'm a little late on this reply, but for mine, I've run the rabbit nipples for water. I wrapped the tubing with that foam tube (ie pool nooodles) and put a heat tape inside. You can get heat tape in various lengths. my thermostat is outside the insulation, so the water does get quite warm, but the water nipples are Teed off and have about 6" of exposed line to cool off. I make sure the water nipples are above the insulated "trunk" run b/c heat rises inside the tubing.

Hope this helps.
