Hay with Sweet Potatoes?

I saw a bag of hay at Walmart with dried sweet potatoes in it. Are these safe for rabbits? I thought potatoes were poisonous! (Except for baked)

Just to be clear, I do not feed this to my rabbits! I'm just curious! XD

I don't think sweet potatoes that are died are poisonous BUT its like extra carbs and sugars that they shouldn't be getting. Sweet potatoes aren't recommended.

I've had to get that hay in a pinch, when I was completely out of hay and the store didn't have any other hay. I had to pick out the bits of potatoes.
